Books, Art, T-shirts, and Gifts, by Marilyn Churchill

Marilyn Churchill studied at the University of Minnesota, and at Wheaton College, where she received her B.A. in Fine Arts. Following graduation, she illustrated children’s books and periodicals for Pioneer Girls, Wycliffe, Tyndale, and Crossway Publishers. Pursuing her interest in animation, she went on to pioneer the first computer animation department at Atari games, and to create and art direct titles for many well-known clients, including Walt Disney, DC Comics, CTW Muppets, Fisher-Price Toys, Steven Spielberg, McGraw-Hill, and The Learning Company.

Today, Marilyn's Fine Art paintings are internationally distributed as prints, posters, and greeting cards. Most recently, she has created Mystic Heroine Adventures, a company producing inspirational books and products. She lives with her husband in central California, and spends most of her time dreaming up stories with happy endings.

About Mystic Heroine Adventure books:

I like writing fast-paced adventure stories with lots of surprising twists and turns. My heroines are strong women who overcome formidable obstacles. Although it's a harrowing journey to a happy ending, they find ways to resolve conflict without resorting to violence. I want to leave readers with a deeper understanding of what it means to be a strong woman, and to be inspired to believe that they too have the inner resources and guidance to help solve their own life challenges. My books are for kids of all ages, (-including adults who have secretly never grown up!) -Marilyn
